Boys and Girls State – High school juniors are selected by local American Legion/Auxiliary Posts to attend the program. In most cases, expenses associated with attending this program are paid by a sponsoring American/Auxiliary Legion Post, a local business or another community-based organization.

Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program
Florida State Scholarship and Grant Programs – The Florida Department of Education, Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA), administers a variety of state-funded grants and scholarships to assist Florida residents with the cost of their postsecondary education.

Horatio Alger Scholarship Program – The Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans, Inc. bears the name of the renowned author Horatio Alger, Jr., whose tales of overcoming adversity through unyielding perseverance and basic moral principles captivated the public in the late 19th century.

JosÉ Martì Scholarship Challenge Grant Fund – A need-based merit scholarship that provides financial assistance to eligible students of Hispanic origin who will attend Florida public or eligible private institutions.
